This week we continue to explore various balancing poses such as tree, warrior III, eagle, hand to big toe pose, and bird of paradise. Standing on one leg strengthens the hips, legs and ankles. These types of poses build our confidence in moving and they improve our balance, reducing the chances of falling and hurting ourselves. Also, we will explore using Drishti (gazing point) to help us balance. Amy Root, RYT-200 is shown in Vrksasana (Tree Pose).
